View Full Version : Abyss - Forged Pit TS Map

Well I had been toying around with settings on Pit for a while tweaking a few things and I've come to a few points where my mind has just been blocked on what to do.

First of all here is a list of everything I have Added/Changed/Removed:
-Removed Rockets from their hallway to sword spawn, deleted Sword
-Removed both Snipers from their spawns and added 1 Sniper to Rocket hallway
-Added One way Teleporters from the bottom of each base to the L-Cover at each respective Training Area
-Added Plasma Pistol to the top of the middle bridge
-Added Power drainer below middle bridge where the two ramps meet
-Added Assault Rifles to the bottom of both turrets along with two spike grenades
-Added Battle Rifles at the L-Cover next to the Turrets
-Added Frag Grenades to each training area
-Both Shotgun Hallways have 2 Plasma and Frag Grenades
-Reduced Clip size of the needlers to 1 Clip
-Added Permanent Gravity lifts on the side of each base below the window.

I put some thought into a Custom 3X Overshield but didn't like the idea of not receiving the powerup if you have no shield.

I'm looking for any suggestions and or criticism to help make this map better. If you hated it, tell me. If you loved it, tell me. There are a few things that I'm still not sure about and in no way do I think this map is perfect but I just need ideas/suggestions.

Also a few of the weapon respawn timers were tweaked but if you want to look at the specifics download the map. I prefer 110% speed but you can change it as you see fit. Also, this map is primarily designed for TS but I'm open to any suggestions for other gametypes.

jk but yea good idea, but dont take snipers off of both sides, it would be tooo unbalanced, its like sanctuary with only 1 sniper. But your rockets and sword idea is good i like that, not too bad.

I moved one sniper to Rockets for balance reasons. If the two snipes were still underneath turrets then most of the fighting would stay overshield side. With the sniper spawning in Rocket hall it gives a reason to move to that side of the map other than the camo.

yea but then why not put the snipers at each camo side it would balance the power and balance the situation. just 1 snipe is a bad thing in the pit, maybe narrows in the bottom mid, but not in the pit, everything else is good though, add ReVaMpE thats me and ill look at the maps cause it sounds good
