Basically I wanted to make use of Foundry's Colossus-style symmetry and make sure that the action was happening all over the map. The idea is that a team can't camp all the power weapons on the map at once, so the play will constantly be revolving around the map.
I placed custom powerups (namely, a x3 or x4 overshield) in each hallway base so that even a team that is getting dominated and pushed back into a corner will be able to fight back somehow.
The only non-symmetrical discrepancy on the map is the Spartan laser vs. the sword - we'll have to see how that one plays out.
The map is somewhat open but I feel the constant floor level-vs.-mid level action will make up for, and I figure grenade jumps are going to be a big factor. I wanted a map that didn't have a lot of complex little crannies where people could hide.
This map is ideal for any gametype, I think.
