The official gametype of the MLG Office lunchbreak.
Conceived by MLG's editor-in-chief Joe Renaud prior to Foundry's release, we could have never possibly imagined how perfect this bizarre gametype would be upon completion.
Joe's official mission statement in the creation of MLG Popcorn was to "make the most ridiculous, random noob-fest ever witnessed by man or beast."
He certainly achieved that, but what we weren't prepared for was how incredibly fun (and surprisingly strategic) this gametype is.
MLG Popcorn is intended for 4 man FFA or 2v2, but we encourage you to try all possible variants. As you play, subtleties come out of the chaos; brilliant touches that make Popcorn the ultimate lunchtime gametype/map.
We encourage everyone to post their gameroom videos of MLG Popcorn matches.
When we get back from the holidays, Sundance has ordained that we will immediately begin an office MLG Popcorn double-elimination tournament. Stay tuned for results.
