click here to download (http://www.bungie.net/stats/Halo3/FileShare.aspx?gamertag=AceHawk89)
+ The map is the 1st slot in my fileshare
+ Also DL the Ace 1v1 settings in the 2nd slot of my fileshare
V2 CHANGES:
+ all walls and corners are smoothed out and even
+ all object placements measured and placed at right angles
+ fences added in front of the spawn boxes for protection from nades
+ now there are only 3 dumpsters on each side
+ OS placed directly in the middle of the map
+blocked off areas where players could nade bounce outside of the map
DESCRIPTION:
Heads Up is a small symmetrical map designed for 1v1. It features a platform on either side of the map, signs and dumpsters in the middle area of the map, and open boxes in the 4 corners of the map. The focus of Heads Up is more on combat and BR battles than sneaking around and gaining map control. Players spawn in one of the 4 boxes or on one of the platforms. This means that the player who kills his opponent will have a good idea of the general area where his opponent will spawn. And won't be caught off guard by an unexpected spawn. This ensures that the respawning player won't gain an unfair advantage.
In the center of the map a custom powerup spawns 1 minute into the game and every minute after being picked up. The powerup gives the player a 5 second enhanced radar, a 5 second damage boost to 125%, and 1 extra layer of overshield. (only if the play is full shield and not taking damage) Besides the OS there are also 4 carbines placed around the outer walls of the map, 2 BR's in the boxes in front of each base, and nades placed next to each of the 4 middle dumpsters. The weapon/power placements benefit players who move towards the middle of the map, but players can choose to stay on a platform if they want. Overall the map seems very consistent and perfect for 1v1 play.
