Remember Colossus? This map is a reinterpreted version of the Halo 2 standard. It is optimized for CTF games.

This is not meant to be an exact replica of the original!

I had some great games on the original. This one of course is not as big as the H2 map so I had to make some adjustments to keep the game play intact. The fence wall in the center creates a barrier between each base for instance. There is a way to jump across off of the main ramps, a path by the sniper spawn and a deployable grav lift at each base for a quick up and over. I think my favorite part of the map is the BR towers and the fence line that you can shoot through. It's totally symmetrical as you can see from the screen shots in the post. There is 1 sniper and 1 OS on the map but with BR's a plenty and so many angles to shoot from I doubt anyone could lock the map down with either. Teamwork is essential to score on this map!

Thanks! I hope you enjoy it!

Remember the entire Foundry playing area is open on this map. Nothing is walled off! No space is wasted! Short tunnels can also be found at each side of the map for some limited cover when moving around the field indirectly (you know.. sneaking up on your opponent). The field is open from end to end.

Nice map, looks like you spent a lot of time making it.

I also made those little window boxes you made at the top. I didn't think anyone else would think of that. heh

Thanks! :-)

I figured someone else would also come up with the "hunting blind" kind of setup for those window panes. I like them because of the defilade cover they provide from direct fire. Well thrown grenades will make it tough to hang out there for long and well aimed sniper rounds might make sitting up there a bit more precarious. They're not meant to be impenetrable. The back side of each tower is open with access from two stairwells or a well placed jump from the walls.
