This is a symmetrical map inspired by Turf, Wizard, Prisoner, and Hang 'Em High. It is designed for competitive gameplay with 4 to 8 players. Good for TS and FFA.
Screenshots do not do the map justice. The map was designed with MLG in mind, so it has been made completely symmetrical. There is an overshield in the exact center of the map, and a bubble shield directly below that in an area known only as "Death Alley" (we know it sounds cheesy, but when you play you will see that the name fits). Both teams spawn at their own bases and generally rush for overshield. Each team has a sniper, a shotgun, 4 fragmentation grenades, 2 spiker grenades, a few battle rifles and assault rifles, and 2 SMGs. The map is designed for a BR Start.
Captain Mighty, my friend who did the majority of the item moving, was such a perfectionist that he would never place an object unless it was as damn close to being perfectly aligned with the objects around it as possible. Because of this the map looks extremely clean. Some crates, barrels, fusion cores, etc. have been added to give the map some character, as opposed to looking plain as most submissions do.
My main focus was on ensuring that the map played well. I found small things that could be taken advantage of and found a way (a very clean looking way) of taking those away and ensuring for a fair game.
When you walk around on this map, it doesn't feel like it was created by users, it feels like an actual map. Everything is as smooth as possible, and that is important for all fighting because no one wants to be bouncing up and down in the middle of a BR fight, or any fight for that matter.
So give it a try, you will not be dissapointed.

Department 271 is designed for Team Slayer and FFA. It is a symmetrical map, designed for competitive gameplay. 4 to 8 players.
One thing that I think will be appreciated is the attention to detail. Every item in the map has been measured and laid out to line up perfectly and symmetrically. This is the smoothest forge map I have seen, and quite possibly the smoothest one made. On top of that it is also quite fun. Give it a download and try it out, you won't be dissapointed.
