Here are the 2 best maps i have i did not put fraction in do to the fact that i really didn't get much back on that.

Updates

1.Teleporters
2. Camo added.
3. Rockets Removed.
4.Spawns.
5. OS.
6. Scenery.
7. Weapon timers.
8. Added some jumps to make for a bit more fast pace
Reason for changes

1. Camo - After many games on this map i have seen more push to control top of map.makes it boring if only one part of the map is being used for the game. So added camo in middle of second level in a caged box and open up second level with a open hallway to increase fights on lower half of the map and to stop push to control the top.

2. Rockets - removed do to the fact to over powered for this map designed

3 . OS - Well same with rockets i moved it farther back making it more difficult to get OS and increase more team work to control power ups. And less chances of 2 power ups getting taken to make it an unfair game to one team.

4. Scenery - After many games on this map i wanted more nade throws and jumps to make the game more fun and skillful. Because it became boring if you just rush one spot and can only get to that spot from one way. Also increase chances for teams to take or brake control of top.Also used the forge glitch to make more smooth playing surfaces.

5. Teleporters - Well after feed back from few people , players did not enjoy stubbing there toe on parts of the maps and well to be honest i don't ether so i replace the old cover for tele's with open single boxes.

6. Weapon timers - Well since MLG is using H1 timers in game play i wanted this map to run perfect on MLG rules and Variants and to be honest i want this map to be played at tournaments. Now if this happens how can it if the timers are not like based MLG map timers for weapons. So none the less i fix them and now snipers are on H1 Timers.

7. Spawns after MLG release news on Emergency spawn issues i fix them ( Forgers make sure you do this it does happen even if you max out your spawn points it still can happen)

I cant believe that epilation didnt get selected in one of the roundups. Its certainly one of the best arena maps we have right now. No question about it. Its not only a great FFA map, its great for team games. Its no doubt the closest thing we have to something in the vein of warlock.

Report me dude, I don't care about the contest, I just care about the fact that you stole my map and are claiming it as your own. Well, ALIENwolve, I get your point. I had never been to this site until yesterday, and I was unaware of any contests. I didn't know whether or not he submitted his plagiarized map for the contest or not. And like I said, the contest is not really of any concern to me. I posted my map here so you could all see what he did, and now you see, he stole it. So, this should make you wonder, hmm, did he steal those other maps that he put here in the contest?

I have to say, this is insanely random, and unbelievable, that I can come here for my first time EVER, click on the first post that catches my attention, see in the guy's fileshare that he has a map with the same exact text in the description that I typed for my map. I download it, open it up, and sure enough it's my map, but changed slightly, and claimed as his own map. I can't believe how I found it, it almost doesn't even make sense, what are the chances!? I call it karma, I guess.

All I'm saying is, this dude can't be trusted, he still denies it even with all the overwhelming evidence. My case I have presented here should be factored into his eligibility to enter any contests. Good luck to whoever wins, I hope its someone who deserves it.

I just went through 594+ pages of Bungie Map Variation. And not one of your names popped up. On all sides there are no reasons for copy and plagiarize that both sides accuse of.

Even then! Don't we all have an agreement that we all have to "sign" "press a" to saying that "the map still belongs to Bungie and that if certain situations of map stealing may occur that there is nothing you can do about it" ... thats basically what the agreement is. And map vandalism.

Salot halo 3 service record is busted and not accessible. Still to this minute.

Funny thing is that the contest ended January 11, 2008 and you submitted anyway.

Knowing that you cant bring back initial dates on former fileshare maps that were taken off. This whole thing is silly. Salot has created blockbuster hit maps. You havent. Whats at stake is reputation. your just a jan '08 trying to bust up a top dog.

And to be brutally honest your version of the map is gaheybage and wont work with MLG standards, or this contest to be precise the turn in date was january 11, 2008 as MLG posted. And that is all that you have to bring to the table of "justice".

To Fritzer, I know, its CRAZY, its almost INCOMPREHENSIBLE that I could come here and find my map stolen like this, but I totally did. I said before in this thread, and I HONESTLY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE CONTEST. The only reason I posted my map was because he stole my map, and I needed to bring this to every sane member's attention. Everything I say is true, whatever dates or evidence or whatever it is that confuses you, I'm sorry, but this is all the evidence that I can accumulate. He originally had a video posted of a flythrough of "Reaction", but that mysteriously disappeared shortly after I brought this up here. Have you compared the maps? Fly around both of them in Forge, notice the similarities. It's my map, he stole it, he changed it slightly, he posted it, he denies that he stole it, and now he must pay.

Maybe you like his version better, I don't care. The contest is none of my business since I happened to find out about it a day late, but I needed to post this here in this forum, and this was the place to do it. I don't play MLG settings, I am content with the game the way it is, I play it for fun, not competition. Notice the date, 1/7/08. This was 3 days after I published it on Bungie.net. Since I updated the map, the original thread is no longer there.

And when I added his map to my fileshare, it kept the date of when he made it, and it even kept his rating and amount of downloads. I don't know why, I don't know how that system works, but that's how it is. I just put his map in my fileshare this morning. When I open it up on my Xbox it says 1/09/08.

I reworked viles foundship, guess which version he submitted for the contest. And as far as I can tell the only map salot submitted was refinery, which is his map, I know cause I saw him build it.

And yesterday i finish a map that i wanted for ffa but not finish till spawns are good. so to answer your question i can make a map and make it good and get the base of the map done in a few hours. And a lot of my designed's comes from my work with the killtrocity map back for halo 2 and a few maps for halo 1 pc. Thats if you were playing halo 2 and 1 with modded boxes.
