How many lefties play Halo 3?

I'm a lefty and am wondering what kind of controller setup you have?

How many people play with southpaw? I tried it but after years of playing console with the default, southpaw just felt wack.

And what about sensitivity? I'm on 2 now because obviously our right hands are weaker than our left so aiming is harder than moving IMO. With 2 though it is easy to control and stuff, but looking around feels like I'm in quicksand. I tried 4-5 but as soon as someone jumps while im BRing them my reticle just goes crazy when I try to re align myself.

So, any tips? Feedback?


BTW I'm still pro on 2 sens I own noobs like 24/7

I wouldn't change a thing if you "own noobs 24/7" the way you are doing it now.

I'm left handed and I have never felt at a disadvantage with aiming. I play bumper jumper with a 4-6 sens depending on how much I have been playing Call of Duty.

I do however hold the right side of my controller different then the left. I place my middle finger on the trigger and my index finger on the right bumper.

Lefty but I play default..

Everything with me is naturally lefty, except the first time I picked up a controller it was default, so it just felt right to play default instead of southpaw.. Same thing happened with a guitar.. I don't play, but I picked it up once and played it righty because I thought that's just how you hold a guitar. Now if I ever pick it up again and try to play I always just play righty because it feels natural.

However, I do know that I have much greater dextarity in my right hand. Could that be from playing video games, who knows.

I'm a lefty- bumper jumper with 3 sens. I've played videogames using my right hand to look around for so long now that it doen't make sense to switch to southpaw imo. I think I acctually might have greater dexterity in my right hand because of all the videogames i'v played, although I know my left hand is stronger.

I am a lefty and I play default sensitivity 4. I might mess around with some different settings later. I'll let you know if I change it.

I play on default and 4 sensitivity, too. If I were you I would just play what ever feels best.

Though, I'm southpaw because I claw, not because I'm a lefty. It's hard for my right ring finger to pull the trigger smoothly for shooting, but it suffices for tossing nades.

yeah i'm a lefty but i play with default settings too. never knew there was south paw when started playing. default just seems natural. change between 4 and 5 sens depending on how much been playing.

lol...i play south paw,claw sens 6...i switch to southpaw in H2 because it was much easier to dub shot with n i stuck with...i personally think that us lefties r as good as the rest just look at eXit Samurai n T2

the oc is worried that maybe he has finer motor skills in his left and wanted to know if anyone else agreed. personally after playing so much default i don't feel even the slightest disadvantage aiming with my right. although i did realize a couple months ago that i was more or less ambedextrous while writing. maybe video games had something to do with it, :-? its cool though :p
