Now before I start let me say Onslaught is currently my second favorite map but anyone who has played on it knows that at times the spawns can be a little sketchy. So i sat down to think about the map and to me it resembles midship very strongly but is onbviously not midship. However I can't remember one time where someone complained about the spawns on midship so I thought about what made midship so succesful at spawning players and decided that it came down to the under the bases area. The thing about bottom bases in midship was that there was so much cover and it was so sealed off but at the same time when you spawne there it took less than a second to make it back into the fray. So I decided to try and apply an under the bases area to onslaught and came up with an extremely plausible layout for it. Consider the Base layout on Onslaught, it consists of 6 fused double boxes to create a platform for the rest of the base. If you were to remove the back 4 boxes from the base and replace them with bridges and then you change the front 2 double boxes to 2 single boxes with an open sinlge box in the middle. If you could fuse some sort of ledge into the top of the doorway it would allow a quick jump up to the top of the base, replace the dumpster, and bring back a little H2 lockout flavor as well. Now you would still need to create one more way out but if this was done it would create a safe spawning zone when other points are too crowded. If this could be done I think the H3 community would have its first consensus best map.
Now I do not consider myself an experienced forger and I do not know ne of the glitches but if an experienced forger is willing to help me I learn extremely quickly and would be more than happy to devote a week or even a month into fixing this one litle issue if it means having another amazing map.
