Midship MK remake

Proudly presenting you the latest remake of Halo 2 favourite MIDSHIP.
Everything is merged so there are absolutely NO bad spots, NO getting trapped and NO unfitting
lay-out.

It holds EVERY location, jump, tactic, angle, ... truthfully build to the original. The remake
wasn't build from some existing version. No, it was build from the ground up to create the most
amazing experience for Midship in Halo 3 to date. There simply is no better version out there.
It took ! months ! to put it togetter but the result is more then astonishing.

The previous version had over 3500 downloads ! It was viewed on MLG almost 6000 times, the
video posted on MLG was viewed 500 times. On the Halo 3 forum it went to 3000 views.
BUT, here it comes, the video posted on YouTube was viewed an incredible 13500 times !!!

And this latest version is at least twice as good, if not even more.
If there was ever a remake in foundry forge that you just had to download, THIS IS IT.

There are 15 screenshots on the screenshot page to give you a starting look of the map.
There is also a walkthrough video on the fileshare for you to enjoy.
I'm also working on new video to put on YouTube for the people that don't want to download in

order to see the real thing.
If you're having trouble downloading the map from Bungie, just send me a friend request. Using
that you can enter my fileshare on Halo 3 and download it directly.

It looks really good but you do realize MLG wont touch anything that exceeds budget. I looked at it and would like to add the fact that you did not Geo glitch anything so their is massive holes everywhere. It looks really good but it won't work out as anything other than cool, End game, Delete. Personally if I wanted to look at midship I would go to H2 because Looking is all anyone will get to do on your map. Sorry if the truth hurts.

Yes. The map codenamed "Purple Reign" sounded like a possible remake.
I beleive it was switched with blackout due to delay in its development to include a new graphical feature.

Doesn't the problem with excessive budgets revolve around splitscreen issues? I though I read that any maps with excessive budgets will have weird visuals glitches when you play them splitscreen...

I highly doubt it exceeds the limit because for some strange reason if you get outside of the map there are a ton of vehicles, equipment, and random stuff. Is there any reason for that being there because the more stuff on the map the less smooth it will run.

Besides that I do really like it and it looks very nice.

It was fun to play for nostalgia. But there are a few problems, ie, nading grav lifts, and my friend said he got out of the map.

downloaded but was it really needed to have vechile on the outside and a very easy was to get out of the map? i fixed most of the easy ways out.

normally the nading grav ligfts shouldn't be a prob, they instantly respawn
and the getting out of the map part i tried an aprouch with mancannons blocking the entrance but they blew you to the other side of the base so that wasn't recommended

I think bungie is on the way of 1 BTB 1 mid sized map and 1 small, and one of the 2 small/mid sized maps has to be capable for a competitive play, ( I think Bungie tries to hard, All the halo 2 DLC they didn't care for Competitive play, and now they do and the maps are FAIL)

did u download and try or r u just jumping to conclusions? BTW in my opinion chillout isn't fit 4 h3 and those remakes of it ... i don't know, i'm not really convinced of them

this is the best midship out right now for h3 it has everything jump wise and is very well made i went in forge and there were some ways to get out and i took them out my gt:JD A40 PRO

This isn't the BEST midship out there. If Rellik Finished his version It would be amazing. This looks like midship, but doesn't mean it plays like it and, it doesn't even really look like it.

This map is as close to Midship as anyone is ever going to get on foundry. You can get out of the map pretty easily, but if people want to get out of the map, let them be dumb. I'd like to see them get back out with only 1 nade. :-P

I think the title is slightly misleading because it looks nothing like a 'perfect' remake.
Agreed, it looks good. But in no way does it look playable or 'perfect'. Nice attempt in remaking a classic map, but i don't think any of these Foundry remakes are going to work IMO. I think the only kind of Midship remake that would work would be a Bungie remake. And even that would most probably fail.

Nice map though, I can see alot of time has gone into it.
