I know this has probably been asked before but when I searched I couldn't find anything. Im having some trouble with merging objects. Ive read the tutorials posted on here and also the ones on that halo 3 foring website. I can successfully merge two ojects, or move an object into the floor but almost immediatly the object I am trying to merge will slide out one of the sides uncontrollably. I have tried to hold it steady so many times and it just keeps sliding out of control. Any help you guys can give me I'd really appreciate it.

If you're trying to get objects to fuse together then you set you first to respawn after so many seconds and put another object where it will spawn. It sounds to me as though you're still "holding" the second object. Instead just let the object settle and don't pick it up.

Yaaaa i am still holding it because this one site said "DO NOT DROP THE OBJECT YOU WANT TO MERGE EVER!". I will try it that way though I cant believe that I never thought of that.

Just remember:
Interlocking - Let the object settle.
Geoglitching - Hold the object.

That's not true. For fusing, you should never hold the object unless you are placing it. For wall glitching, you have to grab it but even then you only want to grab and release it very quickly. Holding it only makes it less even because not only is it being pushed around by the barriers you set up and the level's wall, but you are pulling/pushing on it.

Are you using the Forgehub method or Door method? Door method allows you to merge into walls without holding the object, just tap A and Viola!!
Door Method>Forgehub method.
And you should use teleporters to block your objects, they seem to work the best. Weapon holders also work quite well.

What is this door method? Personally, I had only seen the tutorial on forgehub.

What is this door method? Personally, I had only seen the tutorial on forgehub.
Lets say for instace, your trying to geoglitch the back of a base to save walls. Set the box tight against the wall, then block the sides with a few teleporters and place weapon holders on the top. Leave the side opposite the wall unblocked. Now on the unblocked side of the box place 3 or more doors so that the side of the door is tight against the box. You will notice that the door will merge about a 1/4 of itself into the box. Once your doors are placed just tap A and the doors will push the box into the wall. Once the box settles you can delete your items blocking the box. Sometimes you may have to tap a couple times till you get it 100% straight.
I find this method to be alot better than the forgehub because you won't have to save and quit all the time. Plus you can just keep tapping a till it gets straight instead of having to reload and check it 4 times. But the further you geoglitch the harder it is to keep these items straight.
Hope this helped.

Wow, that is very helpful. It's much faster than quitting and going back into map for every last object. Plus, you never know if it'll look straight with forgehub's method.
