Surprises, Letdowns and Expectations

With a new event going on, theres bound to be new Surprises and Letdowns.

Surprises:
1. Really surprised how the pickup of Snip3down affected Instincts slaying capabilities.
2. ElamiteWarrior and Legit really picked up their game this Event, and are one of the reason they won San Diego.
3. Carbon placing 4th was a huge surprise, look for them to place higher at Orlando.
4. Believe the Hype beating Final Boss 3-0.
5. Final Boss going down out of top 2 is another surprise.


Letdowns:
1. Inferno and Mob Deep were 2 of the letdown teams this event.
2. Fatal Images, with the pickup of Foulacy,not finishing in the top 4.


Expectations:
1. I expected Team Classic to finish out of Top 4.
2. I expected Ambush to be below the Top 4.

What surprised or let you down, or what were you expecting at MLG San Diego?

I thought Carbon and Str8 Rippin would finish 5th and 6th again, and I thought Instinct would be 4th.
This is a pleasant surprise for me.

I predicted everything exept FB's early loss. I expected them to play Instinct for the LB finals, then lose to Str8.

The bigest letdown had to be FB, but my fsvorite part of the tourney was when mackeo and instinct beat TD and then TrashTalked Victory X LOL!Some expectations for Orlando is
1st: FB, They'll make a comeback
2nd:Str8, There on fire right now
3rd:Instinct, there my favorite team but Str8 is just too good right now.
4th:Classic, Dissapointing finish for them, look for them to practice more
5th:Belive the hype, If you can 3-0 FB you got potential, This team will be practicing the most.

I literally screamed when I found out FB didnt make it lol.

I had a huge feeling Str8 would make it to the top 2, didnt think they would win it.... but then again I was expectin FB to be at the top with them....

If Str8 were to take on FB who would've won?

The only real surprise was FB. I'm not surprised Str8 won I mean look at their roster. Its sick. I'm not surprised by carbon. even with no practice Carbon>99.9% of the teams on the planet. No one talks about them but they are just lurking around the top. They are one good bootcamp away from winning a tournament.

Was happy for Str8 to win.
Suprised FB got knocked so early and took the place they did.
And Carbon too. Kinda wierd.

At San Diego, i think Str8 would have ripped through Final Boss, they were really on their game.
