I want to get a new gaming PC, and there are a few things that I'm a bit mixed up with. The graphics card I should get, the RAM memory I should get, the gaming mouse I should get, and the gaming keyboard I should get. I'm looking for someone who has tried either one of the items I list, or both, for recommendations.
GPU: My two choices are the 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT and the 512MB ATI Radeon HD 3870.
Gaming Mouse: The Razer Deathadder or the Logitech G5.
Gaming Keyboard: The Razer Tarantula or the Razer Lycosa.
RAM Memory: 4GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 800MHz - 4 x 1024MB or 2GB Corsair Dominator Low Latency Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 1066MHz
Thanks.

Logitech also makes good gaming keyboards.
I love the Razer mice, but I suggest trying out the mouse you want first to see if it molds nicely into your hand. The last thing you want is an uncomfortable mouse. I used to have the Razer Copperhead and the size was perfect, it broke and now I have the Diamondback and it's a bit too small for me.

Unless you care about the macro buttons, any keyboard that allows for lots of simultaneous keypresses is fine. Saitek boards tend to have good ones along with the Logitech and Razer ones.
Like Pyroteq said, mice are all about personal feel. Both of those are excellent mice. Head to a local computer store to try them out.
As far as the video card goes...

I agree with this Tom's Hardware assessment; spend the few extra dollars and get an 8800gt. These cards are the best deal since the old GeForce 4 Ti cards.

Thanks guys, but that link you gave me doesn't really give me a solid conclusion. It says that both are equally good. And is the 8800 really better than the 9800 and the radeon 3870?

i have a razer tarantula and love it aside from the "shiny" black surface picking up every single ****ing fingerprint, piece of dust, etc.
as much as i hate them... the M$ sidewinder gaming mouse has suited me well. it comes with enough weights to make it super-heavy (which i like) and has great "on the fly" DPI controls and macro functionality that i don't use. the "extra" side buttons are nice too because they are huge and responsive. you cannot "accidentally" click them. also... by far the best mousewheel i've ever used. extremely heavy, solid and responsive.
also... get the n52te game pad and be a total pro.

from everything i've read... nvidia seems to be making a better product as of late.
but i have a 512 ATI raedon card that has served me well.
so i really can't comment.

Razer FTW! I have been using Razer products for years now and it is straight up the best gear I have ever used.
AMD processing + ATI Crossfire = Victory

So would you get the Radion or the NVIDIA, in your opinion?

my ATI Raedon card has been fine... but it's hardly new technology (older AGP unit).
just do some research, there are a ton of great sites that do side by side comparisons and whatnot.

And what about RAM like I listed above. Which one should I get?

IMO, get a Nvidia GPU... Nvidia's been rock solid as far as GPUs recently, and (I believe) run better... It really depends on your other hardware though. What I always tell people is Nvidia + Intel or ATI + AMD. I have a laptop running AMD with Nvidia GO graphics, and they don't run well together, at all. I lag in flash games. You can't really go wrong either way, but I understand wanting to get more for your money.

Out of those two GPU, HD 3870 performs better. But I would get a 8800 GT if I were you, it's in the same price range and performs better than both of those cards.

Yes. Spend the extra 20 bucks on an 8800gt. You'll be glad you did.

I use the G15 keyboard over any razor, i just like all of the programable buttons and easy macros. the g5 is nice but the g9 is an overall upgrade mouse wise. i use the g9. as far as ram i run 8gigs [i wont go into too much detail] with a GeForce 9800 XFX 1G card

I think that the price/performance would show the 8800GT as your best bet for a GPU. I don't think that DDR3 Ram is worth the money yet especially considering the increased latencies. So, I would go with some DDR2 1066 if your mobo supports it. As for M&K I absolutely love the Logitech G5 and the Logitech G15. The G5 is battle proven reliable the G15 has more macro keys than any other keyboard I know of. Plus, I get good use out of the gamepanel screen.
In summary:
GPU: EVGA 8800GT (best performance for the price)
Ram: Corsair DDR2 1066 (4 GB, if your mobo supports it and you are running a 64-bit OS)
Mouse: Logitech G5
Keyboard: Logitech G15

I love my logitech G5 mouse, i mean the weights i haven't really noticed any difference in performance with them but other than that, the sensitivity switch IMO is amazing.
