I find it good for chocking up spawn points under sniper tower

I've used it once or twice while I had a sniper. Once they figure it out though it's not as effective as you would think.

You could, or you could just stand on the top of sword ramp. When you're in the window you can't fire anywhere else on their side of the map to help out your teammates before and after the spawntrap.

To be honest I had completely forgotten about that spot. Thanks for the reminder:-D Not the greatest spot around but it can be useful at times.

They spawn at their snipe/courtyard once, then spawn on the other side of the map. You'd really sit there that long and not help your team? No. The sword rap is better.

Yeah that's old news, I throw grenades in there as well to clear out any sword campers.

I go there if someone rushes me sword but i don't really try to kill people spawning snipe from there.

I jump on that incase I need to hide in sword or to see outside.. I've gotten one or two snipes though up in the crack :)

It's not incredibly useful but is yet another example of how Bungie lets art take precedence over fair gameplay, even when trying to make the most fair, symmetrical map imaginable.
