Help!!!

Ok so everynight around 2:00ish am, XBL ****s up for me and its been doing this for about a week and im starting to get sick of it so this is what happens:
1. Cant play MM it says "Info could not be retrieved from the Halo 3 server".
2. I cant join ANYONES party
3. I cant look at ANTONES File Shares, Servis Record, Party Deitals
4. Then after awile it boots me offline and i can not reconnect till the next morning.

When i trouble shoot the problem, everything goes fine untill it hits MTU then it says "Failed."

Any suggestions PLZ HELP!!

Start with the basics. Try each one in order and see if it solves your problem. If it doesn't go on from there.
-Disconnect and reconnect your internet
-Restart your modem
-Unplug your router and plug it back in
-Press the "reset button on the router (given yours has this)
-Look in the instruction booklet and go in and change your overall MTU for good and leave it that way.
-Contact your ISP and they may be able to help you with things like maybe a port isn't open, etc.

As for it going out every night at the same time, i really don't know why that would happen. i did have a buddy who lived in an Apt. and every night at 1AM the internet in the whole building would cut out for 10min and then go back on. It was really a pain. Hope this helps, if it doesn't idk what to do..

Yep, happens to me everynight, same time. 2:00am on the dot. Then I can't connect till like 3:00 or 4:00. Good thing I have Guitar Hero 3 huh? :-p

Your best bet is a complete power cycle of your modem/router or whatever's in between your xbox and the interwebs. I've had this problem before at times and sometimes doing that and/or turning the xbox on and off works well. It may also be some sort of xbox live maintenance period like they do for wow on tuesday nights at like 3 am.

dont know much about american internets but if your on ADSL rather than cable then it might be your connection re-dialling.
try rebooting your router just before you begin your session then try play through 2am.

i know that some times XBL does updates, and im sure they do it at night because not as many people are on it. It has happened to me a couple of times, usually in the middle of a match
