MLG High Ground

I tried searching and couldn't find anything. I was wondering if anyone had a version of MLG High Ground? I didn't get into MLG until v4 settings, but I heard that it was in one of the earlier versions.

umm if i remember correctly i dont think theres been a highground, since ive been playing since the v1 settings, i know there was once a isolation map though.

Highground and Last Resort were in V1 believe it or not.

i think the v2 settings came out quickly after that and got rid of both those maps no?

Yea v2 got rid of them.
On topic, i don't think anyone will still have a version of High Ground :neutral:

I thought I'd never say this cuz I hate when people do, but, use search. Just a week or so ago someone made a thread with a link to their file share which contained V1 maps. There was High Ground and Last Resort.

I would link it to you, but I don't feel like looking for it, which is why I'm telling you to search for it.

Maybe I'll search for it and edit it into this post, but don't count on it.

Theres a reason it's not in the gametypes anymore.

All the V1 gametypes were default with power weapons removed. just do that and voila, MLG v1 High ground.

v2 actually took a good while to come out, and had the biggest changes to date.

getting rid of high ground and last resort was the smartest thing they did from v1 to v2. those maps are terrible

HG sucks and always will.

highground is not good at all for MLG. the map doesn't play right and no matter what spawns will always blow on that map. maybe if it wasn't 'high' ground and more like FLAT ground it might be a little better. but spawning at the beach over and over would just suck. it's too easy to spawn kill or spawn trap on that map. worse than onslaught... onslaught is a completely different and awesome map.

I would like to see High ground make it into the circuit, but i doubt it will ever make a return

High Ground is just not competitive to be MLG good thing it was taken off it is a pretty bad map

they would have to perform some astounding miracles to even get it reconsidered for MLG use imo
