3 things i would like to address.

1. My map i have recently done is not a version that me and rob are doing.
2. I did not steal his ideas.
3. I am not trying to top no one.

And if you all think that i trying to steal someone else map or ideas then you need to look at maps that been base off Onslaught and Team test map ( Aka Safegaurd )

A few things i going to touch base on.

1. Team Test Map: this was designed by me and built by me and then i brought fritz in to help me with the middle.
2. Safegaurd ( team Test map ): This map was taken by fritz and Zak because i did not want to work on it no more so i decided to put it on the back burner for a later date. So fritz and Zak took it and did there thing.

3. Amp: This map is stated on Fritz site that it was safeguards next version but turn into Amp.

Now if you going to send me messages that i am stealing ideas then you people need to look at ever map and say that idea came from this map and this idea came from this map etc.

Now this is for you Fritz.

First off change your **** on your site stating that Team Test map and Safeguard is yours and Zak work.

Second if safeguard is a earlier version of amp as you some what put it it on your Guru bull**** site. Then i feel you need to thank me for giving you the design that your Amp used. I can go as far as if it was not for me you would of never thought of this design if it was not for me and my Team Test map.

So you can try to pull **** and say that all the ideas were your but frankly it not.

Now if any of you forges have a problem with what i said please post and -rep the **** out of me please.

I could care less if i am not in your little club. I don't need a hug or i have personal problems.

If you guys are going to pm me with stealing this idea and what not.

Salot - I know that this seemed to have happen before back in January. To avoid this try to get permission from the previous owners, so that is cleared up. I know that you were just trying new stuff out with Rob's map which is totally fine, but ask first. I noticed you sent him a pm with a msg, idk if thats what you were doing or not. I recently saw your latest version of Fraction and I'm pretty impressed, Only one side that "seemed" from the images appeared to be a part from Lockdown. I have no idea if you got permission or not.

Im not going to say you're a thief and whatnot, Just make sure when you forge possibly keep record, like a video of your map. After every save keep them...

Well this be probably my only post on this subject. Or i might get pee off again and post in here again.

I took a blank map and made a middle and then i took the idea of the pit from the pit that also from Rob and then i tried to make sure it did not look like his map so people would not assume ****. But yet again people assumed ****. Now this what i speak is my v2 since people assume that taking a little geo glitch back wall i need to get permission.

So in others words its hard to build on foundry and with what you got. Almost every map look the same in one part or another. Now if i took his map and redid it then ya i would see there point. But i started a blank map and went off the idea. If you remember correctly i made a half pit in foundry called Maelstrom or something like that TDN is the one who named it for me.

So idea's is what we share in this community and every map you see in forge has some characters of another.

Now to Knil please don't take this the wrong way.

I did not take his map and redo it or i did not see fit to get permission to try to build a similar map to his map since he took the idea of pit. Now i have made a apology letter to bungie on behalf of me for taking there idea's.

I don't think anyone outside the forge community cares about stealing ideas. And, if someone should be stealing ideas to turn them into maps, it should absolutely and positively be Salot. He works hard and his maps are the best forge maps I've played.

yep i used lockdowns middle in the first version. Now the secend version i am doing i doing all by myself. A little part of a map does not mean i need permission from nexn in any way.

But i am glad in version 2 i am doing it all by myself since Kon here thinks i need to get permission from certain people to use a geo glitch part of the map so i can save some time.

But with this witty remark from you I will make sure that I do the geo glitching on all of my map not just 1% of the map. So i don't offend the guru's of forge.

Hum—so as we can see, you did use part of Lockdown in Fraction v2. There is no rules that say you can’t. Anything created in forge becomes property of Bungie. So it’s not like Nexn and Kronic own Lockdown. However, they did put the time into making it. A simple shout out that you used part of the map, and giving them credit for what you used it usually enough.

I just couldn’t resist posting a comment about the map, IT’S CALL FRACTION!!! And you used a “FRACTION” of someone else’s map. Come on; that’s funny.

You come off as a ****. I havent talked to you in person or anything but on these forums you come off as a grade A asshole. You cause drama where the doesn't need to be it. You stopped after awhile and everything was fine.

For example all tha safeguard/frtizer bull**** should have been in a pm. There was no need to post that here that you couldn't discuss with him. On the Fraction issue i am in complete aggrence with you. People need to stop saying OMG that looks like Triumphs Flag Plat! Seriously guys cut it. The only way maps are going to get better is with finding out whats wrong with them and using that knowledge to creat better maps.

Lately i designed a map and i took Amp's yellow tower as my main inspiration for my yellow corner. Thats because i believe the yellow tower on amp is amazing. I'm not syaing the side yellow streets but the tower structure itself is awesome. Taking parts of maps that work and evovling them to work around other maps will ultimatly result in a better map.

SO im probably going to get neg repped by a bunch of fanboys but i stated my opionion and fell good about it. All in all most of this thread shouldnt have been here but i still believe you posted a key point in that if map looks remotely similar (hey maybe even the inspiration is from that!) that you get *****ed at.

Now if someone outright steals your map etc then thats a problem and im going to ****ing Charzard his ass.


EDIT: @Kon stfu thats bull**** and you know it. Sure he needs to do it but thats not even a big deal. If he took high tower, and put it in his map, then yeah he should have to ask permission. But little **** like that? Nope.

But part of it is the whole reason for this thread. The social part of it, was the fritzer/safeguard thing. As i said that should have been in a pm. But some of this disscussion is going to a good thing. The mainpoint i want to make of this is the map stealng thing. Thats not even map stealing. Its a simple time saver, to use a good idea.

But to address your other point most people do come in here to talk/discuss, critisize maps, and download them. Only when someone starts a pointless thing like this that is controversial will things start heating up into a flame war with no actual debate going on.

I never said he stoled a map. I just thought it was funny he used a "fraction" of someones map. WarZone is an example of someone stealing parts of a map, as a time saver. The guys that "made" warzone deined even hearing of lockdown. They tried to pass off someone elses work as theirs. so round 3 anyone? b/c i have a feeling this is going to get a sticky.
