Alright, so I was getting kind of sick of playing Halo (1, 2, or 3), so I figured I'd take a break. Of course, me being me, I couldn't keep myself completely away from MLG and Halo, and so my Sketchup project was born. I need your guys' help with the middle structure and what to do with some of the extra space I have left over (right now I've just got three "bases" and some walkways around the perimeter and connecting some bases), so read on.

Materials already used:

9 bridges
22 double boxes
10 single boxes
23 double walls (can be substituted for single walls if need be)
19 single walls
5 stairs
wall materials (flexible, opinions/most cost effective ways to build one?)

If anyone has an idea of the budget remaining/budget used, that'd be great as well.

As you can see here, I've blocked off one wing, and left the other open for Red Base. Red Base is supposed to be kind of a more fortress-enclosed area with a lot of cover for the team holding it, but it's also intended to be easy to bottle a team up in there if they're not careful. Blue Base is the more open base across from the blocked off wing. Though this base has less cover, it has a better position on the map, and, depending on how the middle structure works out, should be fairly well protected from direct fire that will come from Red Base, allowing a team spawning there to move more freely. Of course, the Bunker has a great line of sight on the wide open base, so a team spawning Blue will end up having to control or keep the Red team out of Bunker to win. The Bunker is supposed to be the power position on the map, and, as you can see, has direct access to both bases, as well as ample cover relative to both.

There will inevitably be more cover in Red Basement, some dumpsters or something else to protect someone spawning there, and give a team forced there a fighting chance.

I angled the single walls like that to allow a team controlling Bunker to have better lines of sight, but also to expose them to more fire and grenades, weakening the position just enough (or so I hope).

Again, the area under here is going to be a bit more fleshed out, maybe with a sunken single box or some dumpsters, just something to beef up the protection a team at Bottom Bunker has.

So I'm looking for some suggestions/criticism, ideas for spawns/objective points/possible teleporters, stuff like that. But what I most want right now is just some ideas for things I can try for a Middle structure, and other small adjustments/objects I can add to provide more cover on the ground level between the bases and Bunker.

Sorry the screenshots were kind of ****ty, I'll probably end up posting the file on a file sharing site so you guys can look around yourselves.

Hmm, looks interesting. Maybe we can throw around some ideas later.

Anyone else have an opinion/comment/suggestion?

Your left wing wall should be substituted for five vertical fence boxes + fence walls. You'll be needing all the boxes walls you can get. You may want to consider moving blue side in more, but either way you'll need some kind of jesus center structure.

Yeah, the bases are kind of far apart. I didn't want something like Onslaught where a team can dominate both bases by holding a power position or two, or Amp, where the bases are so close to the action that they offer no real cover.

The Middle structure I'm trying to create would ideally be something like that of Sanctuary, with real cover, and a contested power weapon. I don't have anything created yet, because I'm trying to give myself as many materials as possible to work with (which reminds me: I didn't discount the wall materials from my double box count:) ), and I haven't decided whether or not it should have direct access to the Bunker, or if it should do something else. . .

I definitely know I want the Bunker to be a more powerful position, but I want a team holding Mid to be able to use that control to root the other team out of Bunker.

Yeah, the Sketchup template I'm using doesn't have fence boxes or walls, so I used double boxes as a substitute, while the real version will have fence walls/boxes.
