Okay this thread is to stop people for making threads and cluttering up the forums. POST SKETCHUPS HERE THAT ARE NOT FOR ADOPTION! Im aware of the sketchup discussion and database but that's for adoption sketchups. Now you may think your sketchup will get no attention here but all you have to do is post with description pics and make the title in bold so people see the name. It's simple, but i made a format for you guys to follow-
Name
List map information
Asymmetrical
CTF, TS, Oddball (gametypes if planned out already)
4 Brs, 1 Rocket, OS (weapons if planned out already)
Description:fdfbudbudgndsjngugbubeubababebaerg
Realease Date (if available)
thanks, and credit goes to Wheezy for addressing the problem

Yeah nice thread beast, +rep. Everyone can now posts their works in progress in here instead of cluttering the forum with single threads for each sketch.

yeah im trying to get a mod to sticky this and Amp's thread, so we got a adoption and not for adoption thread. I also gotta get people to move their sketchups here and delete the threads, i doubt anyone will though.

I will gladly put mine here.
I'm just gonna make a couple of changes from the thread version, and then i'll post

I disagree with this thread. I like seeing the sketch ups and the insights into design. I do not think its clutter on the forums considering maps take a long time and sketch ups which showcase great designs don't.
Stuff like how to take sketch up pics and all that other stuff clutters but this part of the map design should blossom into its own thread. If its just a single thread, each sketch up will barely get any cc.

I like looking at sketchups as well but the problem is now this section is 75% sketchups, and more are posted every day leaving little room for actual maps which really should receive more attention. I agree though if they were all in one thread there wouldn't be enough interaction with the design process like there currently is. Kind of a big dilemma.

What would be nice is to see works in progress added to the individual sketchup threads, leading to the ultimate posting of the completed map. It worked well with The Hangout, and I hope more people follow suit. Since there have been such a flood of sketchup models, seeing how a finished map changed from initial design in one simple thread would be more beneficial to everyone and restore some focus to the playable maps that have been relegated to the other pages.

Actually thats by far the best option we have now. Just posting one thread with the title of the map and then continually updating it as progress was made, and once the map was finished just updating the OP with the finished project. I Support.

This sounds good to me also.
Hopefully this will encourage people to finish up their maps also
