Things You Can't Help But Laugh At In Halo 3

I just figured in the spirit of the happy go lucky holiday mood, I'd devise a light hearted thread.

I was just wondering what thing/s that when you see happen in Halo, regardless of the situation or seriousness of the game, you can't help but laugh your @ss off.

My contribution is when you're chasing a guy with rockets from behind but can't get that last shot off on him. He turns around, lines you up, and blasts himself to hell on the wall or doorway corner just a little bit too far in his way. I don't care how serious the game is watching someone do that right in front of me will always make me laugh out loud.

Also, being the kids that tea bag no matter what the situation is. It's best when you're playing split screen with a friend in MLG objective and you kill someone and get your buddy to come across the map to help you tea bag. Always fun.

I have to admit, in my many games of Halo 3, I have NEVER seen someone grab invis with a turret. They usually don't get that far.

As for the guy who said the thing about knowing when you're about to get no-scoped, I usually chuckle when I know that I'm going to no-scope someone. I'll be in the middle of a BR fight and say, "Watch me no-scope this guy no shields."

The guy in back whips out rockets like a champ, and fires one off just as his teammate strafes in front of him, killing one, one shotting himself, and damaging the third.

Seriously. On Avalanche the other day, I ran a flag in. All the while, there were snipe bullets hitting me, lasers, wraiths, and I was all by myself running it around the top of the base. I hope I still have the game because I need to save that clip. It was the funniest thing ever. Richard (Intensity) and I were laughing our asses off.

Also, I watched Richard in Legendary Brawl on Ghost Town Mosh Pit...he just got in the hill and jumped around. Didn't fire a single shot. Just jumped around in the hill and watched people fight. It was hilarious because he was winning lmao. He even stood still inside the hill, not hidden or anything, for a good ten seconds and just watched people fight. Lmao. Hilarious.

Another time on Avalanche CTF the other day, Richard got on a Hornet and was like, "Here, get on the side. We gon' go up in their base all tactical-like!" I got on the side of that ***** and we're flying around. All of a sudden there's Scorpions and Wraiths targeting his ass. He's like, "QUICK! Get off get off!!" I jumped off right as he's blown to hell and back. That is when I went through the portal into their base and ran the flag all the way back, the same scene as scenario 1 above.

OMG so many good times. You definitely just have to play the game with friends and have fun and be crazy sometimes. You can have so much fun when you do.

lol i do that all the time. In fact thats one reason we lost a ball game one time. The guy carrying the ball was oneshot going S1 and I came around the corner after getting a trip, heard the callout that the last guy was on S2 going S1 and I turned and smacked him in the shoulder and he died. We lost by two points but it was hilarious, When I saw him drop and didnt get the over (cause I thought it was the other team) I was screaming WTF?! Then I got assasinated and realized what I did and laughed my ass off.

I also start off games by meleeing sometimes, usually on Guardian and I spawn behind a teammate and end up putting them to 1shot within the first 2 seconds of the game... I just laugh and say sorry.

All of the random complaining that people do after custom games. There is ALWAYS an excuse why the other team won and why YOU got crapped on which made you lose.

It's pretty funny to hear the EXACT same complaints from everyone. No one can suck it up and say, "damn, I sucked that game," or "nice, the other team played a great game." There is always some complaints about lag, some guy not dying no matter what, someone having host, etc...

I was just wondering what thing/s that when you see happen in Halo, regardless of the situation or seriousness of the game, you can't help but laugh your @ss off.

My contribution is when you're chasing a guy with rockets from behind but can't get that last shot off on him. He turns around, lines you up, and blasts himself to hell on the wall or doorway corner just a little bit too far in his way. I don't care how serious the game is watching someone do that right in front of me will always make me laugh out loud.

My favorite is when you drop the bub on snipe tower guardian just as some dude is throwing a nade and he sticks himself in the head. I pulled that off on my bro and just laughed my ars off.

My personal favorite though is when you ninja someone rushing you with AR. I pulled it off on high ground after I called it out to my buddy. Then every time they try to get back on their mongoose you shoot it away from them. It is so funny watching them chase their mongoose across the map as we shoot it around. You can always jump off and assassinate them. I've gotten an overkill like this. I've done this stuff many times with buddies. I usually end up laughing so hard I'm crying. Funny stuff. :D

I played one game in MLG with my friend and a guy on the other team was terrible. His name was Ecurtis. Next game we were matched up against him again on the other team and we were making fun of him for how bad he was before the game started. The next game type was pit flag and Ecurtis got custom in the beginning. I went for custom but didn't get it and fell back in custom run way. My friend with snipe went after him from court direction and got up right behind him and beat him down 3 times while dancing and then no scoped him when he had full custom right in the beginning of the game. One more thing, a single play that I was laughing about for awhile.

2v2 on Foundry.

I'm coming from the dumpster side, jumping from the fence to the entrance to rockets. My teammate is picking up rockets moving towards the entrance to rockets.

On the other team, one guy is coming from ramp base up to the shield drain. And the other guy is coming up the ramp by the yellow caterpillar thing.

So I throw a grenade at the guy comin up by the caterpillar which takes his shield down and move in for the kill. As I jump accross rockets entrance, the other enemy is on shield drain and my teammate shoots at him. The rocket kills both of us and the other team ends up alive. So instead of going up two kills, we go down two kills. A total swing of 4 which was basically the deciding play of the game.

I just couldn't stop laughing, especially watching the replay
