I really don't know why this happens, but during MM, Customs, Matches, Scrims, I consistently do well and go positive. Just all aorund beast, yet whenever I go to tryout for a team, I do absolutely terrible. Like, I go in with the same mentality that I'm going to do well and make the team, yet I constantly choke on things I wouldn't normally choke on. I fumble flags, miss snipe shots, lose embarrassing BR battles. I have no idea why, it just happens.
Has this ever happened to anyone?

this used to happen to me
you have to change your mental game. I used to play with people that i knew were better than me, so i tried to impress them while playing.
after awhile, i was messing up while trying to impress them. Then, i started going into games with the mentality that absolutely no one was better than me. i didnt really show it, like i wasnt cocky about it, but i told myself that i was on the same level of play on anyone else. Then, i started doing better because i was just playing my game. i was doing what i do, and after awhile i was BETTER than those guys.
you just have to calm yourself down and tell yourself that this game is like any other game, and your just as good as anyone.

I have the same problem, only worse: when I play H1PC in a public server, I am able to do quite well if not dominate. However, put me in a scrim, and I wind up doing, well, horribad. (KpD drop from >=2 to 0.5 + little or no objective production) :banghead: WeeZ's suggestions sound good...I'll have to bounce them off a few people though :)

I agree with Weez man, you need to just calm down and play your game. Don't try to change your style to impress them, just play the way you do and that's all you should need. I use to have the same problem when I faced my old team, after I had joined a new one. They dominated my team the first time we scrimed, then after I realized I didn't care to impress, I played better, helping my team out more and ended up dominating my old team.
