Though my opinion probably doesn't matter to anyone on this site yet and probably won't until 2010, I have to say this looks really nice. I downloaded and will try to play it later tonight.

Wow I have to say the merging is so clean and the layout I like alot the middle piece and the rest of the map is just eye candy. This looks good for CTF, the only thing I'm not so sure about is the rockets and the spawn points. Overall great map.

The forging looks very neat from the pics, and I really like the center structure. However, the bases themselves are nothing new at all. Another problem with the layout currently is the massive amounts of LOS across the map. How much budget is left? Maybe try creating some new stuctures around the angled A and B signs to block cross map shooting.
