Controlling Spawn points

Hey guys. I just recently made a fun lil gametype on avalanche. But one thing i cant figure out is how to have everyone spawn on the spawn points i set. It seems that a few people are always spawned on the emergency spawns.

And also. If you have two areas for people to spawn, will both teams spawn at seperate areas evenly? or how will that work.

hey

You need to make sure that there are enough starting points for the total number of people you want in the game. Then make sure that half of the starting points are set to defenders and half to attackers, for a normal team game. Set them to neutral for FFA.

attackers/defenders are red/blue teams, i forgot which is wich. i believe defenders are red, and attackers are blue.

press X when the reticule is over the starting point, then you can select which team the starting point will belong to. Defenders, Attackers, 3rd team, 4th team or Neutral.

Defenders are red team and attackers are blue team.

What Baron said. And for the respawn areas, if you want each team to spawn on there own side only (like Pit) then put to respawn areas and press X on them and set the size on each one to take up each half of the map, then set one on defenders (red team) and one on attackers (blue team) that will make it where the teams will spawn like the Pit. And for hte emergency spawns just put a crate or a big object ontop of them to block them so people won't spawn out of your map.

Try going into forge mode>Start Menu> Change Gametype> Whatever you're going to use it for. Then when you spawn you should be on spawn points with a weird blue glowing thing on it. Delete these, or move them to where you want your players to spawn. This is how you always spawn in the same spot at the start of the game. If that doesn't work, make sure there are enough spawns, for neutral, attackers, defenders, and other teams. If that doesn't work either, then I don't know.
