Hey all, sorry if this isn't allowed, but I'm looking for some feedback on my first sketchup map, Entity.

Obviously, it's asymmetrical, but I've been wondering if you guys would think it would play well. Personally, I like the LOS and the elevation changes, but I think that the bottom of the map is too bland...any suggestions? Again, sorry if this is in the wrong place or formatted wrong, it's my first sketchup :)

I think some more screenshots from different angles are needed before I can really make an opinion, but all I can really say is that it looks quite plain at the moment and you definately need something on the floor and a few more structures. I can sort of see the numerous elevation changes which is nice, but I do think that there is too many lines of sight. Again, try posting a few more screenshots from different angles so we can see more of the map. Are you planning on building this yourself or is it up for adoption?

Oh and as far as I know, you can post sketchups as a new topic, but you can also post them in the sketchup thread that is sticked. You might get some more attention to your map like this but it clutters the forums a bit.

well, there definately needs to be a few more pictures so we can get a better look at the layout. As far as what I can tell from this one picture, there are way too many LOS that stretch across the map. It's not just in one or two spots, but actually covering very large areas. Take a look at the thread stickied for map design. It will really help you broaden your ideas in map design and you'll be able to create much more meaty geometry.

Yeah, sorry about the lack of pics, Photobucket was being a pain last night. I'll and post some more when I get home. Thanks for the suggestions, I'll work on it some more :)
