So i started making this map one day and got a week through of creating it and all of a sudden i started having problem with bridges. Whenever i tried aligning a bridge along another one, it would geo one side of the bridge into the other one, thus making it crooked. At first, i thought i was accidentally geomerging using the tear drop method. Well i tried fixing it and made sure i pressed R before i saved it. It started to frustrate me to point where i just gave up forging.

I randomly had the urge to try forging again. I was just hoping that i wouldnt have that problem again. Well it so happened on the first day that the same thing with that was happening to the bridges was happening to double boxes as well. So i decided to ask you guys because its just really pissing me off, and i figured you guys would know. The following are pictures that were in the forging session that i was just describing: one is the cleaned version and the other is the glitched version after saving and restarting.

This is the cleaned up alignment before saving:

and this is the glitched alignment after saving and restarting:

You can tell that the boxes arent straight. Some corners are higher, and the opposite corners are lower.

Like i said, i made sure that i wasnt accidentally geoglitching, and i have NO clue what is happening with this, so could you guys help me out? Thanks in advance!

Here (http://www.mlgpro.com/forum/showthread.php?t=206013) you go.

Just read through this thread, and you should find what you're looking for.

Briefly, i think the consensus of that thread was something along the lines of flipping the boxes either metal side up or a full 180 degrees from there. Otherwise, the gremlins will **** you over ;)
Read through, and you'll more than likely find what you need

This. Although I do find that sometimes, even when flipping them a full 180 degrees, they still move on their own. The same thing happens with bridges, so it proves a real pain when you try to make a platform or level out of bridges. Unfortunately, there isn't much you can do except live with it. Sometimes I try to "outsmart" the box or bridge, by placing it just out of alignment, in the hope that it will move itself into the position that I want it. Unfortunately, it is trial and error doing this and is extremely time consuming.

For the map that you look like creating, it would just be a lot easier to just put the boxes the right way up, and you won't have any problems.

Save and quit after every interlock or merge, then repeat if not straight.

Thanks everyone! I did the save and quit method, and it worked. :)
