With the advent of sandbox there has been an annoying influx of users who have posted "Official Sandbox Thread" failing to realize two important things:
1) Foundry will become completely obsolete once Sandbox forging is in full gear.
2) Threads in the forge forum are primarily for map submission with narrow exceptions to discuss topics that don't quite fit into the three major stickies, "What are you working on?" and the two sketchup threads.
I am getting tired of trashing these threads and will be handing out warnings for them from now on. They make as much sense as posting a "Halo 3 Discussion Thread" within the Halo 3 General Forum then demanding that all Halo 3 discussion be kept in that one thread - what's the point of the forum, then? Warnings will be handed out for these from now on due to their increasing prevalence.
If you want to make a map compilation thread (there is a Halo 2 remake thread floating around which is quite useful) that is fine but you best be prepared to take the effort YOURSELF to create such a compilation instead of expecting everyone to come to you.
