Updated: XenoX v4 in fileshare, link at bottom of post.
Well here is another map i made. It is a symmetrical map with a tower on each side of the base and a mini base in between each red/blue base. If you are able to get ppl to run games on this please leave feedback.
MLG XenoX v4 is out.
Changes
Reworked both sides of the map
Reworked the middle making passage better
Moved Carbines from side of map to right base towers
Added 2 more BR spawns at old carbine towers
Reworked bases COMPLETELY
Added light for callouts on side of map (light/darkside)

looks good but i think just from looking at the pictures that it might be a little bit standoffish in the bases

sorta the point, i didn't want another "fast paced" forge map where they're aren't really any setups.

I haven't downloaded it yet, but judging from the screenshots it looks to prove like it could play well in a 4v4. The problems with all these crypt maps is that they are too open. The way you've structure your map keeps it closed, but still open.
You have to have a perfect blend of being able to shoot across map but easily take cover. A good example of this is Onslaught. I'm not saying this is a Ons-esque map by any means, I'm just saying it looks like it has that same type of blend. Not too open, not too closed off.
If I take a look around once I get home.

I like it, looks good for setups not as fast paced I'll give it a download try it out and let you know what i think

Its fast paced...not professional, but anyway, nice map, I like It but I do like a Wicked "Fast Paste" (lol) map, I can't stand slow, spawn kill, maps, I think the best maps are the most wide open ones, with no "spawn kill" spawns.

Not a coincident. More structured maps, that are not wide open, have less spawn killing.
Edit: Ran around it yesterday. I gotta say structure wise I love the four tower corners. The bases need a lot of work. They are congested, barely multi-tiered (Those jump things are ehh) The middle, is a great LoS blocker, but is awkward shaped, and the tunnel in the middle led to a cluster of random melee fights when I ran a 3 person ffa.
One thing you need to try and do is build flow or transition through the map. You don't want dead space to be the transition all the time. Right now, you basically have a series of seperated buildings.

hmm, ill have to work on this, but i dont want it to get too closed at the same time. Hopefully i can think of something, oh and for the middle im prolly gonna make a lil room down there or something. Thank you for the feedback.

yea i actually thought about doing that too, im currently in the process of reworking the bases and its coming along very nicely, with the whole flow of the map and making structures connected instead of just having 4 separate bases. Thanks for the feedback

thanks, and i havent had the time to put up new pics of the changes i made. these changes really make this map a good map, before some ppl liked it now i think everyone will like it alot more then they did.
could you upload a few more pictures please? at the moment I get kind of a dull feel from those pics ;(

I tried this map myself in 4v4's and it was similar to a Pit game. It works really well for pit CTF and slayer type games. I would prefer this over Onslaught or Amplified any day.
