I'm sure it happens to most people. Your playing Guard slayer/ball and the other team had snipe tower? The thing is this usually happens when I'm playing alone in the playlist or with real life friends?
OT: Can anyone show me a video of the short lift on the pit?

Use the search bar, probably a long list of setup breakers.
What I say tho, Have 1 guy top gold, 1 top blue, and 2 bottom blue. All at once, the guy from gold goes top mid and shoots guy in top green or s3, guy top blue goes from blue window to top mid to s3, meanwhile the 2 guys bottom blue snipelift over and take care of anyone s3/s2/s1. Or/also wait for camo, make a distraction at s2 and then everyone push.

Well, in a ball game, you'll obviously want to utilize a strategy that involves all 4 of your teammates charging the enemies. In TS games, you can sit back and wait for the next camo, but since it's ball you can't just sit around and wait. Obviously, if you know camo's going to be up, grab it and charge the snipe tower (have 2 of your teammates snipe lift over when you start killing the guys at snipe). Another good tool for breaking the setup is a mauler! Even without camo, the mauler will wreak havoc throughout the snipe tower.
I recommend you check out these threads:

Also check out this video:

It's a great video because it's in crystal clear quality plus you get multiple POVs of each player on FB, not just 1 POV.
EDIT: Short lift pit (http://www.mlgpro.com/forum/showthread.php?t=210537). <-- That thread should explain it pretty well. But anyways, all you have to do is Gandhi hop into the lift. Also remember that you have to be off host while playing to be able to do it. It doesn't happen 100% of the time, either, so don't get mad if you can't do it on your first try!

In TS, I usually like trying to get my team on the same page as me and stand off (don't give up easy kills!) until the next camo comes up. It can be easy to pick up kills from Gold Side if you always keep really good track of the sniper. That means always calling him out and keeping him out of scope if it's not too risky to do so. Also don't do a lot of challenging people who just aren't important. I always see the guys watching Bottom Forest from Camo or S3 from Blue dying while in the setup. Just make sure to keep the guys from Forest from being able to lift Camo with full shields and you guys should be able to take snipe back reasonably well.
Also in TS, if you're fortunate enough to get the sniper into Gold, you can control snipe and get the next camo. It's pretty easy to get the next sniper spawn if you've got an invis guy also. And yes, it's usually easier to control Snipe side than Gold Side, but a lot of times you can win because people just aren't prepared for it and don't know what to do.
When it comes to Ball, you just wanna use teamwork to kill a guy or two in their set up without giving up too many deaths and then pressure that part of the setup. Sometimes that means sneaking in, sometimes that means charging one point, sometimes that can mean baiting and switching, anything. You've got tons of options on how to do it, just find what works for you.

Have one guy push bottom mid and make sure he grabs Mauler. :P
Have another guy go Elbow.
One person Snipe Lift, while nading S2 and Back Snipe
The last guy go top-mid towards S3 and clean up anyone that isnt already dead.
Profit?!?!
