So Apparently I'm Going to be Hacked

So I was in a match where my team mates said that I was terrible and that I was a tryhard. I ignore them until they say they are going to hack me. So now apparently I'm going to be hacked by the "high and mighty" AK47.

Should I be taking them seriously? I honestly don't think that everybody these days is a full blown hacker and takes GTs for no reason.

If people say that are going to hack you, it's always a bluff. Trust me, i've gotten that message from people far more times than you, once even this week I was going to be hacked lol. Nothing to worry about, they just want you to feel scared for the first 2 days, then you slowly start to forget someone threatened you.

This is quite disturbing. However, your chances of getting hacked for only going +4 during a steaktakular seem slim.

PLEASE stop calling them "hackers". They don't do ANY "hacking" whatsoever. All they do is use social engineering in order to slowly weezle information about an account from various Microsoft Xbox Live support personnel until they have enough information to recover the account.

I would worry about it, just ignore the idiots and move on. They clearly have no life and so need to try and scare people over a game. About the knowing what gamertag u have on your console maybe they looked though your friends list and saw which had the same name (yours) and similar bio?

There's like a 99.9% chance you won't get hacked. I've been threatened for so much crap before and nothing's ever happened.

Besides, if you don't appear offline or hide your friendslist then you can just look at some of the dudes on your friendslist and figure out the timing of who is on / not and infer which accounts are also yours.
