I never truthfully liked you biggs but im starting to like you and you put a good arguement. It was just like toronto last year, good teams still ****ing showed and people still had to play good. I only got LBR6 at toronto but we had to play some good ****ing teams up until there and so did power. they beat DbA,Active rush, uprising, biggs team, need i say more? The easy bracket **** has to stop.

Well good lol. Pursuing Pro status isn't just about skill/teamwork, it's about respect. When I went into Anaheim I knew regardless of if I won/lost, made it out or even made pro that I would have to do one thing: Respect every team/player I faced. I did exactly that. I placed 27th and immediately after each game I shook hands with each and every player win or lose. I told them GG's, congrats on their placings and game play and good luck in the rest of anaheim and their future events. Ask anyone I played and they'll vouch that I did that. I mean I'm sure that going into Anaheim that over 75% of halo didn't respect me or thought I was completely cocky and arrogant. Well after my mature display I'm hoping that 75% dropped tremendously. I just wanted to show that I'm a respectful player and competitor.\\ I'm still sure we could have gotten close to pro, but once we won out of winners to champ bracket we just lost our crunkness. Maybe we just wanted to make it out. Also we didn't practice the pro gametypes because we wanted to make sure we made it out lol. well we definitely won't make the same mistakes next time.

I honestly must congratulate the PwR guys
, you really pulled it through even though the odds were stacked up against you. 8 hours of jet lag playing over 14 hours of competitive halo in 2 days and it was your first tournament as a team, that is a amazing achievement i can see you guys doing really well if you stick together. ![]() |

[quote=Knight640]Yep. Lets ignore what actually happened in the tourney when deciding who was the best AM team to make it out. Clearly Pwr weren't the best team to make it out because they placed lower than some of the teams you just mentioned but they BEAT Victorious Secret, making them BETTER in my book.QUOTE]
Funny you say that, because we destroyed Victorious Secret to make it out, and easily 3-1'ed North of 49 for Top 20. But that does not mean we come on the forums and announce my team as clearly the best in AM. The placings showed, and our series against Power was insane. Easily one of the Top 5 matches of the whole tournament. People keep asking, why are we not getting any recognition? Honestly, we do not care. Let the games speak for themselves. Goodluck to Power and it will be awesome to see you guys again in Orlando. |
