I think I found my new car. For while I was dead set on a new muscle car but they are just monsters in terms of size and weight and I dont like that.

The new Hyundai coupe looks promising. $20k, RWD, Good looks, weighs 3,500lbs (compared to the camaro's and challenger's 4000+), 4B11T (same engine as the evo x)

Plus the insurance... 225hp 4 cylinder Hyundai vs 400+ hp 8 cylinder Camaro for a 21 year old

Yeah unless your super rich..then stay away from high powered V8s in those muscle cars. You dont want to be paying more than a car payment just on gas.

Actually the new camaro gets some really good gas mileage for having 400+ HP. I think it gets like 23mpg highway. The 300HP one gets like 26. My car has around 300 and I get maybe 16 17 max mpg on the highway. Talk about ***.

common misconception.

The LS2 [6.0l 400hp V8] powered GTO gets 16/25 while the 4b11t [2.0l 291hp I4] powered Evo X gets 16/22.

The Camaro is powered by the LS3 which is the LS2 replacement.. so you can expect about the same MPG.

The Hyundai Genesis coupe is powered by the same 4b11t engine.. so you can expect about the same MPG.

my 2nd car was an integra, look for something simple and not powerful for a 1st car civic, integra, something cheap and under 4-5k
