Halo 3 National Championship Recap

Halo 3 National Championship Recap

Quote:
The Halo world featured several intriguing story lines heading into the 2008 National Championships. Could the top-seeded squad, Str8 Rippin, live up to the hype? Would Triggers Down, winners of the final tourney coming into Las Vegas, repeat their success? Could Final Boss and their retooled lineup finally gel and produce a result worthy of their potential? Would a lower-seeded team spring any major upsets on the top squads? The weekend answer each question emphatically and set the stage for an interesting 2009 season.

Goodness, I will sorely be disappointed if this season is not televised. Vegas was epic!

Seeing Walsh and T2 in the championship game together was almost nostalgic. My hats off to both of you guys for your perseverance; it's certainly an inspiration for me, even though I opted out of Halo and decided on college, instead. Also nice to see Karma and Carbon back in the limelight, even though Karma's team had it a little rough this weekend.

Carbon finally learns how to play on Saturday, and look what happens.

I am most excited to see what Final Boss does. I give them a 2% chance of sticking together through the off-season.

I'd like to see a twin-twin combo, OGRE 1, 2, Lunchbox and Roy. Now that'd be something dangerous.

First off congrats to Str8 and T2 he has worked so hard to get there. I hope that Instinct can stay together i believe they can come back in 09 and deff get over the hump and win some tournaments!

Congratulations to a very deserving Str8.

Also not trying to be negative but I hope Ambush's low finish motivates them to actually practice together before events in the future. Not saying that was the only reason they did so poorly but if I was on that team I'm pretty sure that would be haunting my mind right now, knowing I didn't do everything I could have. I really like Ambush and I think if they really push themselves motivation wise they could be a real future force.

Congratulations to Instinct on the second place finish and a very promising future as a team.

A huge congratulations to Carbon for proving people wrong and seeing the payoff for there hard work.
