1st event is Meadowlands

2nd event is Columbus (Ohio I believe)

Looks like I'll be going to 2 events right off the bat this year

Great info too. Meadowlands-Columbus

And not to mention that WoW is on for 4 straight events, looks like PC gamers will get to experience MLG more.

Woo! I'm pumped.

Lets hope there are a few Canadian stops... We need some love too!

Regarding the Rolling Rank system, I think it is an interesting idea, and maybe should only be used towards the beginning of the season? Or probably for only the first event?

I kind of disagree that it points should be continually rolled over seeing as there has been many team changes since the end of last year. It would be a little unjust to have seeds based on the teams performance last year as a player may have amazing placings the prior year which allows them to hold a high placing which may not represent that player in an accurate fashion. Thus seeds could easily be out of whack.

The gameplay on friday sounds like an epic idea

Regardless, it will be interesting to see how it will play out !

HOLY ****! MLG is coming to Columbus!

I might actually be going to an event. This is rather awesome.

Edit: Sorry to the R6V2 players...

and sorry to the SR players too... maybe next year?

Edit2: Also, the Placement Rounds are a very good idea. And while I don't entirely understand how the system works, it will be very nice to watch pros playing all weekend, rather than just on Sunday.

Halo sucks. Bungie sucks. I agree with you. Why the **** do you still play the game?
Bungie created a game that requires luck over skill, and they keep you playing. I tip my hat to them.

GT: Poptart Revolt I don't play Halo much anymore.

No Smash? I was really hopeing to be able to watch some of that. Can't wait for the season to start and the new rollover point system seems like a good idea.

Sounds pretty interesting. I really like getting pro gameplay on Friday too.

Meadowlands and Columbus are very doable for me so that's good news as well. I can't wait to see the rest of the event locations.
