Here is a list of the rules and the illegal spots on all the maps for v6. Feel free to post any spots that you feel need to be illegal.
Rule #1 - These are examples of what is considered "outside the normal boundaries of the map." Please use your best judgment. Feel free to IM or e-mail me if you plan to use a spot that you are unsure about. Rules: 1. No leaving the normal boundaries of a map. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 2. No going onto the crane boxes on Amplified. ![]() 3. No going onto the ledges above the lobby on Construct. ![]() 4. No going onto the top center structure on Guardian. ![]() 5. 21. No placing the oddball out of reach, in an area where it won’t immediately “Play Ball”. The following spots will be given extra attention by Pro Circuit Referees:

I think this was answered in the other thread, but I can't remember. Can we go on top of the bases on Lockdown during the opening rush? i.e. without the ball?

You may jump above the bases all you want as long as you aren't holding the oddball. If you jump above the base with the oddball in your hands, then it's illegal. We did this to help prevent the ball from landing up there and becoming out of reach, which is also illegal. |

It says you cant take the oddball there, there's nothing that says you cant get up there without the ball, same goes for the elbow ledge and ledge behind blue on guardian

On 18-C it shows the ball next to green1 lift on Guardian. This position still allows one to grab the ball with timing, stance, or from an easy 'nade move. If it's illegal so be it, but I was curious as how this was considered out of reach? I've stood on that flat ledge between stump and lift, and jumped from that to the stump mid-branch, sometimes I've had the ball fall in front of lift in process of doing that method.
(Asking not arguing.) Thanks, Wheezey

In the rules, it states: 18. No placing the oddball out of reach, in an area where it won’t immediately “Play Ball”. 19. Breaking any of Rules #1-17 will result in a Forfeit of the Game. 20. Intentionally breaking Rule #18 will result in a Forfeit. Unintentionally breaking Rule #18 will result in a Foul. Fouls stay with a Team throughout the Event. Two Fouls during one Game will result in a Forfeit of the Game. Once a Team reaches two Fouls, over the course of the Event, each additional Foul will result in a Forfeit of the Game. Players will be considered to have intentionally broken Rule #18 if they deliberately throw the oddball into an area where it won’t immediately “Play Ball” or if they let their Character idle and die above an area where the oddball won’t immediately “Play Ball.” The referee will watch and/or review the film. If it was done unintentionally, you will receive a foul. If it was done deliberately, you will forfeit that game. To be safe, if you're holding the ball, avoid that area. There was an issue of a team abusing that spot at an event, and it now needs to be enforced to prevent it from happening again. |
