Str8 Edges out Carbon 3-2 in a Tense WR2 Match-Up!

Quote:
In Winners Bracket Round 2 of the MLG Columbus Championship Bracket, Str8 Rippin and Carbon just went head to head in a match-up that posed a wealth of questions about how both teams' weekends might turn out. Despite the fact that they were clearly not firing on all cylinders, Str8 Rippin still eventually went on to narrowly win the pulse-pounding series in a decisive Game 5. They'll now move on to face Instinct in Winners Bracket Round 3.

I guess they need to "find a 4th that doesn't choke in game 5"

Your're an idiot. I hope Carbon plays their game still in LB and fights back to a top 4 finish.

Why am I an idiot? It was completely classless how they were trashing Soviet and Naded after they let them go. Thought it was ironic that it was one of the 3 core members that choked this time.. and their 4th put up the best numbers. It is too bad that it was Shock though because I don't recall him being the one throwing out any of the insults... it's too bad he didn't leave Carbon to team with Naded, Karma and Soviet.

And TBH I was pulling for Carbon in that series.

I had no idea it was gonna be that close. Still, Str8 Rippin came out on top.

HHHHHAAAA HAAAAA0-

Carbon loses yet another game 5 team slayer against str8 rippin. Do they ever fail to lose at these crucial game lmfao. Whats their excuse this time.

They were 2-1 up. Surely they could have sealed the deal. Maybe they have a problem with finishing the job they started.

Str8= s7ill clu7ch

Even though Str8 Rippin is the 2nd seated team, they are still the champions and are the team to beat. Everytime the MLG circuit reaches the Meadowlands, they seem to be "out of place." But after the Meadowlands, it seems like they are more alert and focused. I'm still routing for T2, but I'm also routing for TD.

I guess that's the right answer. But you have to keep one thing in mind. T2 is a very emotional leader, which means that if he fails, Str8 Rippin fails. It's all up to him in order for Str8 to win the tournament.
