Biggest H1 LAN in history

I have a friend that just donated his reception hall for me to host my next EPIC LAN in. It's ridiculously huge and has a kitchen and a bathroom. I'm going to be charging $20 a piece for Friday Saturday and Sunday so I can hook him up for helping us out, but other than that it won't cost a thing. It can support any number of boxes and tvs and can easily hold 300 or so people. Literally everyone that plays should plan on being there. It's in Wichita, KS which is very centrally located and it's only about 10 minutes from the airport. Advance tickets to Wichita usually cost around $200. It's located downtown but there is plenty of parking and people can bring air mattresses or sleeping bags and just crash there, so no Hotel fees. People can shower at my house if they start stinking too bad or we can just get a hose and hose you down.

The main thing I want to convey is that I will definitely have at least Insidious' new maps in finished form by then and hopefully we will have the other maps as well. I have 4 modded boxes and 4 19" crt tvs that are perfect for H1 plus I have access to at least a couple other mod boxes and TVs so I should be able to provide at least 8 stations on my own, plus several people within one or two states will bring their equipment. The Texas guys provided 4 more stations and I know they will be there so it should be really huge. Stat letting me know what dates you guys wanna do it I was thinking maybe the weekend of Thanksgiving since everyone will be off and people can leave on Friday and come through Sunday. Let me know what you think.

this sounds like a great idea man....I know there are quite a few halo 1 players in DFW alone. you should get the word out.... LonG LivE halo uno.

My parents may kill me for skipping Thanksgiving with them, but the last big LAN I went to was the memorial day weekend LAN, and that was way too long ago.

You don't have to skip Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is Thursday. Lan starts Friday and ends Sunday.

wow it falls like that? yea thanksgiving weekend sounds optimal then... im down, i talked to mcdick earlier today he said hes game too. so thats us two for sure.
