![]() Team shooting is important in every team game type in Halo 3. In Team Slayer, if you team-shoot well, the score directly indicates it. Team shooting occurs when two or more teammates shoot at the same opponent during an exchange. The more you team-shoot, the faster the opponents will drop and the easier time you will have gaining map control and winning the game. There are a few key elements that must be in place in order for a team to successfully team shoot:
Two BR's are better than one.
2. Positioning-- You can communicate until your mouth is dry and lungs are out of air but it will do no good if your teammates aren’t in a position to help. Through time, practice, and watching top teams play, you can learn where powerful positions are on each map. Typically, there are several spots that offer unique angles. It’s important that at least one teammate can put a shot or two on an enemy in any given firefight. Those few shots can be the difference between life and death. 3. Smarts-- You have to know when to back down as well as when to reappear. When you’re out of shields, try to poke out and put one extra shot on the enemy fighting a teammate. A smart player is a team player. Above all else, always keep in mind that two is greater than one. You want to focus on shooting the same targets as your teammates ;it’s the most expedient way to dispose of the enemy and complete any objective. The more you play with the same teammates, the better that your team shooting will become. |
