 Snake can repeatedly use his Up-B recovery maneuver by essentially blowing himself up. After Up-Bing, press Down-B to drop a remote mine. Then, immediately press Down-B again to detonate it. If performed quickly enough, the remote mine will explode just beneath Snake while he is still in the air, allowing him to use his Up-B again. The situations where you’ll need to use this technique are rare, but it can be quite handy when that little extra boost is needed. The remote mine will cause 18% damage to Snake and does have the potential to KO him around the 100% range, depending on your location in relation to the over-the-top kill zone. |
