RSV2 Championship Winners Bracket 1 Update

The Championship Bracket has just started in Rainbow Six Vegas 2 and we have already been suprised with some rather interesting turnouts.
Having a very strong run through the Open Bracket yesterday, Iconz was a team not to be underestimated. Jumping into their first round of Championship competition against the two-time Rainbow Six Vegas 2 champions vVv ReWriTTeN, Iconz had nothing to lose. Kicking things off with a demanding win on Training in Conquest, vVv ReWriTTeN quickly found themselves at a major disadvantage heading into one of their weakest gametypes.
Three Kingdoms brought us into our first round of A&D for the day, as vVv ReWriTTeN struggled to take the win in the later rounds. Taking the first round thanks to an ace by Famous D, rounds were traded back and forth until the fifth and final round. Being able to put Iconz on the defensive with the bomb being held, vVv pushed them into a corner to pick off members of Iconz one by one.
Tied at one map a piece, vVv easily took Convention Center in Conquest as they also took the lead of the series. Not having the same luck in A&D, vVv ReWriTTeN found themselves on the losing end of a quick battle as the series would be once again tied at two maps a piece.
Heading into our final map on Kill House, Conquest was the choice of game type to do battle. Round by round vVv ReWriTTeN and Iconz would find themselves pushing at the last second to get those two important caps. Having a 1-1 tie within the match, Iconz decided to step it up a notch in Round 3. Holding off vVv ReWriTTeN until the final seconds, Iconz easily took this round and upset the number one seeded Rainbow Six Vegas 2 team in the first round of Winners Bracket play.
Doing their part for MoB, both MoB RAGE and MoB Lost Cause found themselves easily advancing into Round 2 of the Winners Bracket, where they will be battling for a spot in the Winners Bracket Final. Following in their footsteps is Unreal, still hot off of their very close win over Instill Fear.
The first round of Losers Bracket play is looking interesting as Dynasty LANslaughter and vVv ReWriTTeN will both be fighting for their survival early on in this tournament. Be sure to stay tuned to MLGPro.com as Rainbow Six Vegas 2 action is just beginning.
