We’ve read your feedback concerning the MLG Battle Rifle Project. One thing apparent to us is some things that may be obvious to one group of people weren’t as obvious as we assumed! Here are a few videos demonstrating some important elements of the Halo 3 game (from the four-shot to a “StrongSide” escape). Unfortunately, our testing raised new questions and we look to you to help us solve the mystery of the Battle Rifle once and for all! (Many thanks to Lennox for helping in this project)

Four-Shotting

This video demonstrates how to achieve a four-shot: three shots anywhere and the final, fourth shot, a head shot. Any combination can work as long as the last shot hits the head. Think of it this way: you must shoot Master Chief anywhere to get his shields down and then after that he becomes susceptible to head-specific damage. Notice that other combinations, such as four body shots (it takes six body shots to kill, no matter where you shoot) or three head shots and a body shot do not work. Remember that the reticle does not even have to be red, as we show at the end, where we hit the shins three times and finish the enemy with a head shot.
