Pro Circuit Conduct
Rules
- No opening an Xbox 360.
- No raising the TV volume above the maximum allowed volume.
- No communication between Players and Spectators during a Match.
- No excessive use of vulgar language.
- No taunting of opposing Players by Coaches.
- No verbal abuse of MLG Staff.
- No use of vulgar language directed at an opposing Player.
- No excessive taunting or celebration by Coaches or Players.
- No intentional Forfeiting or conspiring to manipulate Rankings or Brackets.
- No unsportsmanlike physical contact.
- No maliciously throwing objects at another person.
Penalties
- Players found breaking Rules #1-5 will be issued a Warning. If a Player receives two Warnings, they will be issued a Technical Foul.
- Players found breaking Rules #6-8 will be issued a Technical Foul. If a Player is penalized with a Technical Foul, their Team won't Host the next Game they are scheduled to Host, unless the opposing Team doesn't want to Host that Game. The loss of Host, if necessary, will carry from one Match to the next or one Event to the next. Coaches receiving a Technical Foul will have their Coach Pass and privileges taken away.
- Players found breaking Pro Circuit Conduct Rules #9-11 will be Ejected.
- Referees may issue a Warning, Technical Foul, or Eject a Player for acts of misconduct not listed above.
Penalties
- Technical Fouls will be added up over the course of the 2008 Pro Circuit.
- One Technical Foul = Warning
- Two Technical Fouls = 2nd Warning
- Three Technical Fouls = Loss of MLG Forum Access for 30 Days
- Four Technical Fouls = Loss of MLG Forum Access for an additional 60 Days
- Loss of MLG Forum Access for 120 Days or remainder of calendar year, whichever is longer.
- Ten Technical Fouls = Suspension for 1 Pro Circuit Competition
- After ten Technical Fouls, each subsequent Technical Foul will result in a suspension for another Pro Circuit Competition
- If necessary, penalties will carry to the next year's Pro Circuit.
- Players who receive 3 Technical Fouls in 1 Halo 3/RSV2 Match will be given a 1 minute Penalty. After 3 Technical Fouls, each subsequent Technical Foul in the Match will result in another 1 minute penalty. If a Technical Foul, resulting in a 1 minute penalty, occurs during a Game, the Player will be instructed by a Referee to put their controller on the ground as soon as their Character is dead. After 1 minute has passed, the Referee will tell the Player that they are allowed to pick up their controller. If a Technical Foul, resulting in a 1 minute penalty, occurs between Games, the Player will serve the penalty at the beginning of the next Game.
