MLG headed to the West Coast for the first time in the 2006 season, landing in Anaheim for a record-breaking event. The East/West Coast rivalries in pro gaming heated up on West Coast territory as Ken and PC Chris met up again in the Finals for Smash. With a hometown crowd behind him, Ken won the final game and retained his crown, but PC had once again threatened to take first place. Meanwhile, Final Boss met new challengers in the Finals, as Carbon finally defeated Str8 Rippin’s impressive line-up. Still too much for their opponents however, the reigning champions of Halo 2 maintained the status quo with another win.
