Upsets were the order of the day at the fourth event of the 2006 season. Str8 Rippin and Carbon were both defeated by lower-ranked teams and met early in the Losers Bracket where Str8 was forced to settle with a seventh place finish--their lowest since forming the team. Carbon, meanwhile, landed in third place as Storm Ventures defeated them in front of a packed venue. Ramby, Legit, Naded and Poon, the players of Storm Ventures, then went on to take four games from Final Boss before second place. Despite winning once again, the Champions started to show some chinks in their armor. Ken won again in SSBM’s Singles competition, but he and Isai fell for the first time ever in Teams, losing to Azen and his teammate Chillin.
