Returning to the heart of downtown Dallas for the first time since 2004, MLG was prepared for another great show of talent and determination from all the top players--and the fans were not disappointed. After an epic 11-game series, Str8 Rippin edged out 3rd seed Carbon in the Halo tournament and headed into another Championship match against Final Boss. Final Boss won the event in the end, dropping only two games along the way. Meanwhile, Ken was able to retake the SSBM crown from PC Chris by defeating him in the Winner’s Semis and Chu Dat in the Finals.
