First appearing in MLG tournaments during the middle of the 2005 season, Dynomike started at the bottom playing with locals trying to make a name for himself. After feeling disappointed with his performance at MLG Chicago 2005 falling just short of making it through LCQ 4v4 and a tough early exit in the FFA, Dyno practiced and moved up the halo ladder eventually finding home with the teams Pain X (Factor, Fake Tatas, Wonka) and eventually Active Rush (IceVayne, Gexny, Lancer). Dynomike made professional bracket in both Free For All and 4v4 helping him become one of the most feared and determined competitors of the 2006 and 2007 seasons.

Dynomike also made a name for himself appearing in the series of Illinois LAN montages showcasing some fantastic plays on LAN of both Halo 1 and 2.
