The gravity hammer is a melee weapon favored by the brutes. It is a very large and easily recognized weapon that attacks with even more power than the energy sword. The shockwave created by swinging the hammer sends vehicles, players, rockets, and grenades flying.

The gravity hammer attacks at the same rate as a melee attack, so a shotgun is a natural counter. The shockwave created by swinging the hammer affects players at a much longer distance than the attack and can be used to push players off ledges.
