The M6D Pistol, or pistol, is a powerful, accurate weapon that can be used at any range. It has good ammo capacity (12 rounds, 10 magazines), a 2X scope for ranged fire, and is one of the most powerful weapons in the game. Bungie, the developer of the game, has stated that the pistol was too effective, and have deemed it to be "overpowered".Template:Fact A skilled user can kill an opponent in as few as three direct headshots; this is where the term 'three shot kill' (TSK) originated. The pistol is a favorite weapon among MLG players.
