The machine gun turret is a support weapon that, when detached, has 200 rounds. It is very powerful at medium to long ranges due to its high accuracy, but suffers from slow turning and walking speeds, which allows close range enemies to easily evade damage.
One tactic to use when being flanked is to immediately drop the turret and fight the nearby enemies with normal weapons.
