Back to Former Pro Players
Starting out as one of the original members of the Str8 Rippin collective from the Bay Area, Samurai came to prominence in the competitive scene upon the release of Halo 2, quickly finding his way onto the leaderboards. Known throughout the tournament scene for his relaxed and casual demeanor, Samurai was known as one of the friendliest pros on the tour.
Not to be understated, he has long been a staple of the competitive community and has played both alongside and against some of the greatest players in the game. During his competitive era, Samurai’s selfless willingness to fill the less glamorous team roles has long made him the attraction of top teams. Throughout his career, Samurai has refined his gameplay as a primary objective player, developing a keen awareness of how to structure his positioning to best highlight his teammates’ more agressive playstyles.
Samurai has not featured prominently on the Pro Circuit since his departure from XiT Woundz between the 2006 and 2007.
